The name “nonprofit organization” is a misleading one. These charitable organizations make up 6% of all organizations in the the country and spend $500 billion annually to carry out their programs. PNNOnline, which bills itself as “the nonprofit news and information resource,” is one of the most respected sources of online news for and about nonprofit organizations. Their site is a source not only for the latest news from the nonprofit industry, but also for expert opinions on industry issues and services such as job listings and announcements of major events and conferences.

Soros Justice Media Fellows Awards:
Seeking funds for an in-depth journalism project dealing with criminal justice? The Soros Justice Media Fellowship seeks dynamic journalists working in print, photography, radio, and documentary film and video to improve the quality and depth of media coverage of incarceration and criminal justice issues.
