Link of the Week:
June 8 - 14
American
Presidents
As the media commemorates Ronald Reagans passing,
this week is sure to be chock full of Presidential references and comparisons.
Here are a few sites on the Internet that provide biographies of US Presidents
in audio, video, text and photos.
http://www.americanpresidents.org/:
This site, constructed by C-SPAN, has video programming on the Presidents and
a quick menu that provides fast access to details such as wives, religions,
Vice Presidents and other professions of US Presidents.
http://ap.grolier.com/ (The American Presidency):
In addition to biographies, this site features recent election reporting and
links to past media reports. There is also a wealth of information about the
Presidency and Electoral Politics.
http://www.ipl.org/div/potus/ (Presidents
of the United States): This Internet Public Library site lists election results
and features many helpful links to background information and online historical
documents.
http://www.supercrawler.com/pages/presidential_biography.html:
A collection of links about all of the Presidents, including links to key cabinet
members, histories of key events, trivia and materials available for purchase.
