Link of
the Week: May 27 - June 3
United Way Media Site
At
FIREs Media Forum for Nonprofits held last Friday,
many people requested journalists contact information
and tips on writing press releases. Well be posting
the contact information for Forum participants, as well
as their handouts, in a week or so. Until then, however,
check out the
media page at the United Way of Asheville and Buncombe
County (UWABC). Theyve recently updated it
and placed it on their website. Even if you are not
in the vicinity of Asheville, there are helpful tips
about communicating with the media. As for you media
folks, it is possible to
contact the UWABC if your information is missing
or is outdated.
