Muckraker
Muckraker is the website of the Center for Investigative Reporting, an independent news organization that strengthens democracy by exposing injustice and abuse of power. To achieve its aims, CIR investigates underreported issues, produces in-depth stories and provides its reporting to the public so that people can take informed action.

The site features investigative reports in three areas: Social and Criminal Justice, Environment, and Science and Technology. The site also has tools for reporters and allows readers to pitch a story.
